Where did you go to school and complete your training?
University of South Dakota School of Medicine for medical school and the University of Missouri–Columbia for ophthalmology residency. I’ve been practicing for twenty years.

A great eye care practice provides patient-centered care while respecting patient values and needs with compassion and empathy.
What is a recent moment at work that made you proud?
Helping people regain their sight after cataracts had become so bad that they lost the ability to drive, work, or perform daily activities. Seeing patients regain independence after surgery is incredibly gratifying.
What do you do to unwind after a long day?
Spend time outdoors.
What is your go-to coffee order (or beverage of choice)?
Regular black coffee.
Are you a cat or dog person?
I have always been fond of dogs. They truly are one’s best friend.
What is your favorite movie of all time?
Rocky IV.
What do you love most about living in Sioux Falls?
I enjoy Sioux Falls as a vibrant, growing city with good Midwestern folks who generally work hard and care for one another.
