What drew you to a career in eye care?
My interest in ophthalmology began at an early age through the influence of my father, a local optometrist. Observing his dedication to patient care and the trust he built with those he served sparked my interest in eye care. Seeing firsthand how restoring and preserving sight could meaningfully improve people’s lives ultimately guided me toward a career in ophthalmology.

What do you hope patients feel after a visit with you?
After a visit with me, I hope patients leave with a sense of peace and confidence. My goal is for them to feel heard, thoroughly evaluated, and reassured that their concerns were taken seriously. By clearly explaining their condition and involving them in decisions about their care, I want patients to leave with confidence in both the plan moving forward and in the partnership we share in protecting their vision and overall health.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received was to resist complacency. In medicine, it can be easy to rely on routine or past experience, but meaningful growth and excellent patient care require constant curiosity and vigilance.

Walks with the family and enjoying the outdoors

Golf, Cooking, Smoking meat

What inspires you, personally or professionally?
What inspires me is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Personally, my family’s support motivates me to grow and strive for excellence. Professionally, I am inspired by the resilience of my patients, the trust they place in me, and the chance to improve their vision and quality of life.
