Full-time Ophthalmic Diagnostic Testing Technician

Monday–Friday, day hours. No holidays. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefit package, including health, dental, 401K, life insurance, disability insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and eye care benefits.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Providing quality patient care
  • Educate/inform patient of test purpose and procedure
  • Performing diagnostic tests (tonometry, visual fields, OCT imaging, Pentacam, IOLM, and photograph imaging)
  • Generate reports and send testing data per physician to EMR
  • Assisting in the maintenance and care of diagnostic equipment

Full-time Medical Receptionist/Scheduler

Varying hours between 7:30 AM and 5 PM, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Meet and greet patients
  • Provide information about medical services, insurance, and general account information
  • Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information
  • Receive and route all incoming telephone calls and schedule patient appointments
  • Send new patient information packets, initiate appointment reminder calls, manage waitlists, and send recall reminders for follow-up appointments
  • Coordinate interpreter services and transportation as needed
  • Understand and implement financial policies, collection of co-payments or non-covered services, and self-pay balances
  • Handle patient concerns in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Demonstrate knowledge of services provided within the practice

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy is helpful
  • Computer skills and customer service skills

Full-Time Registered Nurse – Pre/Post-Operative

Ophthalmology Ltd. Eye Surgery Center has an opening for a full-time (36 hrs/week, Mon – Thurs) Registered Nurse - Pre/Post-Operative. Looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, surgery center staff, physicians, and the public. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain professional, and stay on task while providing quality patient care. Job duties will include:

  • Admitting and discharging patients
  • Completing pre/post-operative care in accordance with physician’s orders and center policies
  • Working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

No evenings, overnights, or weekends.
