Full-time Registered Nurse – Pre/Post-Operative

Ophthalmology Ltd. Eye Surgery Center has an opening for a full-time (36 hrs/week, Mon – Thurs) Registered Nurse - Pre/Post-Operative. Looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, surgery center staff, physicians, and the public. Job duties will include admitting and discharging patients and completing pre/post-operative care in accordance with physician’s orders and center policies. Will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain professional, and stay on task while providing quality patient care.

No evenings, overnights, or weekends.

Full-time Ophthalmic Diagnostic Testing Technician

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Providing quality patient care
  • Educate/inform patient of test purpose and procedure
  • Performing diagnostic tests- tonometry, visual fields, OCT imaging, Pentacam, IOLM, and photograph imaging
  • Generate reports and send testing data per physician to EMR
  • Assisting in the maintenance and care of diagnostic equipment

Full-time Ophthalmic Technician

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Providing quality patient care
  • Gathering health information and updating patient charts
  • Escorting patients to the exam rooms
  • Performing diagnostic tests such as tonometry, visual fields, refractions, IOLM, and imaging
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and outside services
  • Keeping patient treatment areas clean, safe, and stocked
  • Possible traveling to satellite clinics on occasion

Office Coordinator/Testing Technician, Worthington Satellite Clinic, Part-time (15-20 hours per week)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Greeting patients, collecting information, explaining the testing process, and administering diagnostic tests
  • Administer eye drops as directed by physician
  • Generate reports, and upload to EMR
  • Be the main point of contact for satellite clinic; report any building issues, regularly visit and inspect property during non-clinic hours to ensure care and security of facility
  • Open clinic prior to satellite start time and close clinic after the last patient
  • Pick up clinic mail weekly, sort, and forward to main office
  • Monitory inventory and keep rooms supplied
  • Various office duties
  • General Cleaning
