Medical Receptionist/Scheduler


  • Primarily responsible for patient registration, check in/out patients, schedule appointments, answer and route phone calls, manage patient records, data entry, update patient charts, and obtain insurance information.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills, computer experience and communication skills required.
  • Position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a team setting.
  • Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare office setting.  Prior registration and scheduling experience beneficial.
  • HS diploma required.

Full-time Ophthalmic Technician

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Providing quality patient care
  • Gathering health information and updating patient charts
  • Escorting patients to the exam rooms
  • Performing diagnostic tests such as tonometry, visual fields, refractions, IOLM, and imaging
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and outside services
  • Keeping patient treatment areas clean, safe, and stocked
  • Possible traveling to satellite clinics on occasion
